I have this silly bluetooth project and your blog saved me.
I still can’t use the right services to send a message from PC to mobile. I don’t know what to do first, find the port or what. i’m lost and out of time.
One more thing. what’s the difference between a BT dongle in the USB port and a built-in local device ?

Thanks for the nice post.
I was working on a bluetooth project for my oop course. But i couldn’t figure anything. your post helped me a lot.
but i still can’t use it to connect to my handset. If i click “search nearby devices” it shows Exception like this-
“Exception in thread “AWT-EventQueue-0″ java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/javabluetooth/stack/hci/HCIException
”
I have downloaded the “javax.bluetooth” and put in the same folder. do I have to download anything else ?
